The Reseller Control Panel (RCP) lets you brand customer-facing communications — logos, end-user management, transfer confirmations, registrant verification, and trademark claims notifications — so every touchpoint reflects your business. This guide walks through each section of the Branding page and how to configure it.

Where to find the Branding page

All branding controls live on a single tab inside Account Settings. The page is organized into five sections:

  • General communication branding

  • End-user management interface (MWI)

  • Transfer domain confirmation page

  • Registrant verification page

  • Trademark claims notification page

Before you begin

  • Sign in to the Reseller Control Panel with an account that has Account Settings access.

  • Have your logo image file ready (square format recommended).

  • If you plan to use a custom hostname for verification or claims pages, set up a CNAME record on that subdomain pointing to approve.domainadmin.com.

  • Decide on the header and footer text you want to show, and any redirect URLs for after a registrant accepts or rejects a notification.

Step 1: Open the Branding page

  1. Click Account Settings.

  2. Select the Branding tab.

Step 2: Set your general communication logo

The General communication branding logo is applied to the transfer confirmation page, registrant verification pages, registrant claims notification page, and sub-reseller control panel.

  1. Click Edit in the General communication branding section.

  2. Select Customize logo. The upload button appears.

  3. Click Upload image, select your file, and upload.

  4. Click Submit to save.

To change the logo later, click Change image, upload a new image, and click Submit.

Warning: If you select No logo, your uploaded image is deleted. You will need to upload a new file to restore the logo.

Step 3: Configure the End-User Management Interface (MWI)

The Manage Web Interface (MWI) gives your end users a place to manage their domains. You can enable or disable it, hide or show auth codes to end users, and allow or block password resets at login.

  1. Click Edit in the End-user management interface section.

  2. Toggle MWI access on or off.

  3. If you disable MWI access, enter a destination in the Redirect to field. This can be an alternate management interface, an error page, your website, or any other valid URL.

  4. Click Submit.

Step 4: Customize the transfer domain confirmation page

This is the page registrants see when confirming a transfer. If you have a logo uploaded, it appears here automatically.

  1. Click Edit in the Transfer domain confirmation page section.

  2. Enter your custom text.

  3. Click Preview to check the result.

  4. Click Back to make changes or Submit to save.

Tip: Text in this field cannot be formatted, and line breaks cannot be added. Keep it short and direct.

Step 5: Customize the registrant verification page

This section controls both the ICANN Registration Verification page and the .UK Domains Data Quality page. Your uploaded logo appears on both.

  1. Click Edit in the Registrant verification page section.

  2. Select OpenSRS default or a Custom hostname for the verification page URL.

  3. Optionally, set the URL customers are directed to after confirming their information.

  4. Enter Custom header text and/or Custom footer text for the ICANN and .UK pages.

  5. Click the Preview buttons to review each customization.

  6. Click Back to make changes or Submit to save.

Step 6: Customize the trademark claims notification page

The trademark claims notification page supports a custom URL, header and footer text, and accept/reject redirect URLs. Your uploaded logo appears here as well.

Note: To use a custom hostname, set up a CNAME record on the subdomain pointing to approve.domainadmin.com before configuring it here.

  1. Click Edit in the Trademark claims notification page section.

  2. Select OpenSRS default or a Custom hostname for the claims page URL. Test the custom hostname link if you set one.

  3. Enter Custom header text and/or Custom footer text.

  4. Enter the URLs registrants are redirected to after accepting or rejecting the claims notification.

  5. Click the Preview buttons to review each customization.

  6. Click Back to make changes or Submit to save.

Next steps

  • Brand your confirmation pages in depth. Set colours, letterhead, and per-language confirmation page content in Brand and Customize Confirmation Pages.

  • Brand your webmail. Apply the same look to your webmail interface in Manage Your Webmail Interface Branding.

  • Audit your sub-reseller experience. Confirm that your sub-resellers see the correct logo on their control panel after publishing changes.
