The OpenSRS status page is the central place to track ongoing incidents, maintenance, and component-level outages across OpenSRS services. This article explains the components reported on the page, the colour-coded component statuses and overall impact levels, and how often you can expect updates during an incident. Use it to interpret what you see on the status page and to know when to expect the next update.

Components
Components are the individual OpenSRS products and services that are tracked on the status page. Each component has its own status indicator so you can see exactly which service is affected during an incident.
Component statuses
Each component on the status page displays one of five colour-coded statuses.
Status | Colour | What it means | What to expect |
|---|---|---|---|
Operational | Green | Everything is working as expected. | Normal service. No customer impact. |
Under maintenance | Blue | Planned maintenance is in progress on the component. | Possible brief interruption tied to the maintenance window. |
Degraded performance | Yellow | Minimal or no customer or business impact. Some performance slowness or cosmetic issues may be visible. | Service still works; you may notice slower responses. |
Partial outage | Orange | Partial impact on one component or across several. Intermittent or performance issues that affect some customers. | Some requests may fail or be delayed; others succeed. |
Major outage | Red | Significant impact on one or more lines of service. | Service or feature is unavailable for affected users. |
Overall status levels
The overall incident impact level is derived from the individual component statuses. It tells you the severity of the incident as a whole.
Status level | Colour | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
None | Black | All components are Operational. |
Minor | Yellow | Any component is in Partial Outage, or any component is in Degraded Performance. |
Major | Orange | All components are in Partial Outage, or any component is in Major Outage. |
Critical | Red | All components are in Major Outage. Typically large-scale, prolonged service outages. |
Maintenance | Black | Any component is Under Maintenance. |
