A bulk contact change request submitted from the Reseller Control Panel lets you modify the Owner, Admin, Technical, and Billing contact information for many domains at once, instead of editing each domain one at a time.
About bulk contact changes
You select the domains and the contact types you want to update, enter the new information, and submit the request. You can monitor progress from the bulk actions queue and choose whether to apply changes to locked domains.
Warning: There is no undo for this operation. Select your domains carefully before submitting. After submitting, you may be able to cancel the job from the bulk actions page, but any domains already processed must be corrected individually or through another bulk job.
Step 1: Select domains and open the bulk action
- In the Domains section of the Reseller Control Panel, select the check box next to each domain you want to change.
- From the Bulk actions drop-down menu, choose Edit contact info.
Step 2: Enter the new contact information
- In the Apply changes to section, select the contact types you want to change (Owner, Admin, Technical, or Billing).
- Enter the new contact information in the text fields.
- Optionally, select Apply to locked domains. With this option, any locked domains are unlocked, updated, and locked again. Without it, contact changes are not applied to locked domains.
- Optionally, enter an address in the Email results to field.
- Click Save contact info.
Step 3: Monitor the request
Track the status of the request from the bulk actions icon. For details on reading the queue, see Viewing Bulk Change Requests.
